After completing a Bachelor of Economics at New England University, Jon worked for National Bank and Elders Finance in Melbourne.

Returning to the New England Region, he managed a beef and sheep property situated at Guyra, gaining extensive practical rural experience..

After leaving the property, Jon returned to agribusiness banking working in customer development roles for Suncorp-Metway at Emerald, Miles and Dalby in Queensland.

Once he returned to NSW, Jon worked in management roles for Elders Rural Bank, Inverell, and National Bank Agribusiness, Armidale, developing networks and customer relationships in the region for over 20 years. He also ran a rural business turning over trade cattle on a small farm outside Inverell.

Jon has a deep understanding of modern agribusiness practices combined with high-level business and financial management skills.

Jon joins Elders Real Estate with a passion for agriculture and assisting people achieve their goals.  He loves inspecting and appraising rural properties, and with good communication, empathy and a strong work ethic, he has the experience to guide you through the selling and buying process.
